Hi all,

I want to use my ADAT XT to rout signal from my mixer digitally into my PC, and then play those signals back through the ADAT into the mixer. I have the ADAT PCR card, and have kind of made it work.
Is there a way for my to keep the ADAT in a mode that allows me to sent digital signal to the PC and hear what is coming form the PC simultainiously?

Thanks,
Twonk

Yeah I realize.....

I know, I've already asked this question but, I havent gotten any answers yet. Twonky must know how to do this.

Twonky,

From what I remember reading, the ADAT Edit Card is NOT capable of transmitting and receiving at the same time from the same ADAT. I could be wrong, but I'm 99% sure that this is the case.

I'm not sure if its an issue with ADATs in general or just with the Edit card, but I think you might be out of luck.

Sorry...

I have the rme 8 ch ad/da. One light pipe sends tracks to the sound card, the other returns them, at the same time. I suspect most multi-chanel converters can do this. The ADAT recorder can not. (This was in the middle of your other post, from 'fishmed')

Don't know anything about the adat edit card, but doesn't the instructions say?
see ya
