adat edit

Should i buy the adat edit system or is their a better program out their that i could use just like the edit system? Also i was woundering if their is a program out their that you can hook up to your labtop instead of a pc.

I'm not going to bust your chops but cross posting is a no no. But in answer to your question, I wouldn't go near the ADAT Edit system. I went through two of them and it was a nightmare. I'm a big Alesis fan (two 20 bit ADATs and a HD24, Midiverb II, etc) but the Edit card was a piece of shit. Just my humble opinion. YMMV.
