Can anyone please tell me how to make these two work together?

I just installed the PCR Card, the Connect softwatre and the Adat Edit. The Connect works well with the Adat XT, it sends and receives audio fom and to de XT.

The question is if I´m going to be able to do the same from within Pro Audio 9.

I´m currently tracking drums in the XT to 6 channels channel 7 is free, and channel 8 is used to lock to the computer via SMPTE.

I bought the ADAT EDIT to save the eigth channel from SMPTE and to use the transport buttons in Cakewalk to drive the XT .

How is this achieved??????

Thankx

If I understand it correctly and Im sure I will be corrected if I dont; once you import the tracks to the pc they are resident in the program adat connect and are available for use by any other sound software capable of using them. Adat Edit is not necessary. I am not up on using the smpte code etc, but this works with wav files. I think also with midi?
I hope this helps.

I have those wav files from the adat, how do you sync these imported wav´s with every other track previously recorded in cakewalk and then back again to the adat. They must be in perfect sync. I know I can import those tracks into the pro audio project .

The other question was the Midi Machine Control to move the adat transport fro pro audio.

Thanks a lot for your help!!!

If you recorded all the tracks from the ADATs to the computer at the same time, the waves are all exactly the same length and therefore, when you import them into a software multi tracking program like Cakewalk or Vegas or any other, they'll all be in perfect sync (import wave number one to track one, wave number two to track two, etc...).
You should also be able to record from the ADAT directly to whatever program you're useing.

Thank you all I´ll be trying this later today .......

What about MMC?
