The high end of the mandolin is a little edgy. I hit it with a EQ cut of 3 dB @6 kHz and liked the sound.

Nice playing. Nice tone on the instruments. The melody and chord structure is reminiscent of some music I've heard from a guy, I know, who plays a zither.

This was all done on ribbon mics. Anyone looking for how ribbons sound on stringed instruments might want to give this a listen.
