Acoustic treatment questions (pics)

Hi Guys,
I am recording in a attic type room and i just finished treating the space with acoustic foam. i am mainly doing this to eliminate the ringy cybmal and snare reflections. here are the pics. please let me know if this is the correct way.

You might want to post this in the studio building forum, as those guys have a lot of experience with acoustic treatment. Here is a quick test, though: Clap your hands in the room and listen for reflections. If you get a lot of quick "boi-oi-oi-oi-oing" reverberations, you may need to add some more treatment or hang some heavy blankets to absorb high frequencies.

One thing I note is that you've got some of the foam on the ceiling in the null of your overheads. That's not ideal since you won't be picking up too many reflections off of that surface. Maybe try moving those pieces (on the ceiling in front of the kick drum) to the wall behind the kit. Or move the foam on the floor to behind the kit if that's easier.

The bass traps on the floor is a little different. I don't think bass traps are too critical for drums, since you're close miking the kick, and the wave is so short that I doubt standing waves could form. You could probably relocate those elsewhere in the room, perhaps to help with your mix position. That will require some experimentation. It won't hurt anything to leave them where they are though, in terms of drum recording.
