Ive recently finished building my 2 room studio and am looking for some advice on how to treat the live room. Due to space problems the rooms rather small about 2.5m by 3.6m with a low ceiling of around 7ft.
The floor is concrete although i do have carpet if deemed a good idea. From what ive heard a hard floor is good when coupled with a absorbative ceiling so i was thking of leaving the concrete and hang rigid fibreglass a couple of inches from the actual ceiling.
The walls are treated with noiseline gib (plasterboard).
I will only be tracking one instrument at a time so advice on where to place the drums would be great my control room is somewhat bigger so i will be tracking the guitars in there i thk.
Thx
