moody and up front with a spot of phazyness going on, maybe some chorus or something? unless that's just the conversion....

very listenable
Thanks, Jay. There is a bit of chorus on there...I was trying to seperate the trakcs a bit. I think I overdid it though.

I listened I thought it was nice and clean and bubbly, very smooth.
Great job on the sound with your mics.
How close did you mic it?
I had to mic this diddy Acoustic World about 5 inches from the sound hole with a C414, and the intput gain on the mixer channel cranked about 3/4.
That sounds pretty good to me. It has a nice percussive drive, that fits the tune. My mic's were about a foot away, one pointing at teh soundhole, and one closer to the 12th fret. I have since retracked it, more on teh neck and lees on teh soundhole. I'll upload it later.

Hey Dogman, this sounds good. I think this type of tone would sit well with an accompanying vocal and bass guitar or keys. EQ'd just right I think. Nice steady rhythm too - something that's really need to support a tune too.... Good One!

Thanks, ido. I am still working on it, but I never really play the acoustic, so need to work on getting it recorded. i'm pretty happy with how it's turning out.
Thanks, man...

Ok, I tuned the guitar, and played this again. Slightly different mic positions, to try and get rid of a little bottom end. This is dry.

I listened to the most recent file. Very nice... sounds like a real guitar in the room, which is not an easy thing to get.

Hey, thanks Tim. Do you have any recommendations on what to do with this? I mean some eq, or maybe compression? I have messd with it some, but wind up with it going dull most of the time. Since I don't play with acoustic much, I really don't even know what I want it to sound like... :o
Thanks for listening.

Ok the dry version is nice too - it's definitely more forward. It would do well with a brighter song where the guitar is emphasized either a lot or occasionally. Not better or worse - just different. Personal preference for tunage - I would go with numero two (just my preference though). Nice chord pattern and playing too. What/how are you mic'ing with this time?

dogman: It sounds like you are playing right in front of me. I like it! Walter

Hey, thanks Walter. Appreciate the listen. Glad you like it.

Ido, same basic setup...2 mics, a small condensor, pointing to about the 12th fret, 1 ft or so away, and a Large condensor, sitting on a table sideways, capturing from about 1 ft of the neck, but pointed towards the soundhole more.
