Acoustic Pickup

What type of acoustic pickup goes in the soundhole, but fills in the whole hole, not just a bar that goes across. i saw a vid with one and it sounded great

You may have seen one of those feedback stopping plugs. It's just a soft piece of rubber that keeps the monitors or P.A. from going back into the guitar. He probably was using an under the saddle transducer.

Almost certainly, that is it. I've never seen any magnetic pickups that completely fill the soundhole.
