i have a 1971 epiphone ft-150 (just a dreadnought). it has a bolt on neck very similar to a strat. it has 4 screws going from the back into the neck. i was wondering if anyone here would know where i could get a new one. the current one is pretty banged up.
thanks

If that's the guitar I'm thinking it is, that's a neck very very similar to an ES335 neck on there. Good luck finding a replacement. You would have to have one custom built for you by someone and thats going to be alot more $$ than you could get for the guitar with the replaced neck.

What do you mean by "banged up"? Is it broken? Or do you just need a refret and maybe a little refinish on it?

thats what i thought. there are some pretty deep (1/4"-1/2") dings/gouges on the neck, one under the nut that i'm worried about. there are no signs of cracking yet. this guitar traveled all over the world with my dad when he was in the navy, so it's been through a lot. but i love the sound of it and it records nice, so i want to keep it around for a while.

i've been considering a martin style neck (with a heel) bolted through the side if nothing else.
