I got lots of great advice on my last track. I was hoping for anyone's thoughts on this new one:

Come to the Lake by JamesSolstice on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

I was going for an early Bob Dylan sound. I actually used a touch of fingerprint EQ on the guitar, lifted from the first few bars of "Girl from the North Country". I also used the Slate RC tube console emulation for...well, something.

Other than that, just some modest EQ and compression. The Reverb is 2C audio Aether.

I have always struggled to get a good sound in a sparse mix like this, so I welcome suggestions!

The vocal sounds OK. The guitar however sounds like a bad MP3. I mean it's cool tune and I don't want to sound harsh. Harmonica is good as well. The guitar just doesn't "sit with the tone of everything else. It's played very well and all, it just sounds funny.

There is a general boxiness to the sound - mostly from the guitar. I would probably take the reverb off it entirely. Lots of little clicks/pops/scratches on the guitar track.

Harmonica, to my ear, was rather harsh.

Vocal recording sounded pretty good.

I liked the guitar playing. It was good.

Thanks for the comments...will have a look at the guitar.

OK I remixed the track taking the above suggestions into account. I think the boxiness described above was partly attributable to the fingerprint EQ I was using to try and match Dylan's guitar. It really took a lot of high end out of the guitar and that's likely why it didn't sit right with the other tracks. I also made a bit of a cut at 400Hz, and tweaked the levels a little. Would appreciate a second listen.
The new version is attached here. I have not replaced the track at soundcloud as of yet.
Would appreciate any thoughts as to improvement (or not!).

The new version sounds better it sounds a little more like Bob's acoustic tone. I like it to be a little brighter. The vocals sound nice, but almost like you're holding back through the whole song. Then the harmonica comes in way too loud. It's all just personal preference, experiment until you're happy and call it done. Cool tune :D

Thanks for your time and suggestions. Good observations! I did hold back with the vocal...sort of a restrained sound. I backed the harmonica off by 0.5 dB in the second version...have to say I sort of like that searing, cutting harmonica tone though. Commands attention! Others agree with you though...
