Was wondering if there was a plugin made that would dirty up an acoustic, making it sound electric like for some old 50s rock?

Can these be used, plugged in, after the fact? I know some you have to record with them rather than plug them in AFTER the recording.

You should have no problem in recording your guitar, the adding Guitar Rig (or whatever) to the track as an effect, then hearing the effect in action.

But if you recorded a miked acoustic, or used an UST its never really going to sound electric.
