hey,
i have been using the studio projects b1 to mic
my Martin 000x1

i want a second mic to go stereo and have a more varied sound

i have $60 for a cheap but good sounding acoustic guitar mic.

naiant does not sell individual.

is it wrong to think i can use two diff types of mic and get a good sound?

thanks

nothing is wrong... we like stereo pairs but you can do anything to capture acoustic guitar
the B1 should work, if you want more definition, a smaal d condenser will do it

ill have to keep an eye out for one. nothing on ebay or craigslist right now.

its not imperative to have matched pair is it? will it be ok to use two completely different mics like that?

thanks guys.

if anyone has any used naiant mics they want to get rid of let me know.

nevermind, on ebay mxl603s

there are quite a few for 60

but i would prefer to try the naiant mics

I recently picked up two AT3035s for 50 dollars each on ebay...they beat my 603s on strings every time...you might check into them.
