I Just Bought Acidpro 5.0 And I Have A Question.....should I Record My Vocals In Acid Or Continue To Use Cool Edit. It Seems Like The Newer Version Gives U Alot More Options As Far As Adding Effect Etc. But I'm Not Too Sure How These Would Compare To The One In Cool Edit. I Feel Really Dumb For Asking Because I Could Just Try It But I Would Hate To Start A Project And Get It Perfect In One Program And Then Have Too Re Record Due To Some Underlying Problem I May Not Be Aware Of. is it possible to do punchin/ punchout in acid 5.0....i've looked in the manual and could not find anything.

I use acid 5.0 and don't use audition, but I'd say do your recording in audition and your mixing in acid. acid is great for loops and mixing, but it's not the easiest recording enviroment.
