? about n-track

im still pretty new at this and im having a problem trying to download n-track. the download cuts off on me everytime. sometimes near the end and i have to start all over. anyone else had this problem?

im trying different programs and i still have not found the one i want to use. i tried gold wave and i like it but i dont see where you can overdubb with it.

could anyone please share any info about n-track. thanks in advance for any replies.

You may need to turn off your firewall to get the program to download.

thanks Dani, well i guess theres not too many people that use n-track or at least if they do they dont want to talk about it. sure would like to hear some pros and cons and feelings in general about it.

I started out using N and loved it.

But with v4, Flavio had a lot of problems especially with MIDI and performance/crashing.
I had to switch to Cubase to get anything done.

v5 looks a lot better (reading their forum will tell you a LOT; there are few complaint/bug posts now so I'm assuming that the new version is fairly stable). But I have yet to go back to it.

Download the demo and give it a fair shakedown. Also keep your eyes on Reaper from www.reaper.fm and ComputerMusic magazine- they gave away a full copy of SamplitudeV8 (worth $150) this winter in one issue and are constantly giving away good stuff...
