Alright, so I'm pretty new to all this home recording stuff. I just got Ableton Live 8 for my birthday last month.
And now, seeing as though it's Christmas day, I got a bunch of new recording toys. One of this happens to be a Behringer Podcast Studio bundle, coming with a Xenyx 502 mixer, an Ultravoice XM5800 microphone, and a UCA200 USB audio interface. I got my microphone hooked up to the pre amp on the mixer, and the mixer connected to the audio interface with normal RCAs, and the audio interface connected to the computer via USB. I installed the ASIO drivers and everything, selected ASIO in the Driver Type in the Options>Preferences>Audio, and selected BEHRINGER USB AUDIO in that same page of preferences. I create a new audio track in the arrangement view, make the I-O options visible, the input is set to Ext. In, and none of the channels (1/2, 1, 2) sound monitors are moving when I sing into the microphone. I am quite new to this stuff and would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks!
