Ohai, so I've had Able Live Suite 8 for a while. I just record my guitar, vocals, and midi instruments (drums & piano) through my Audio interface into Ableton.
I've been so confused and overwhelmed trying to take in all this information I'm slowing learning since joining these forums. Reading all about pro-tools and mixing a mastering; I never thought about that, I just plugged shit into my box and recorded, fiddled with settings till it sounded half decent.
Trying to take a better approach now
Is Ableton Live Suite a good program for rock recording? I'm getting this feeling, it's meant to be for Djing and whatever. It also sucks for mixing D: Unless I can't find proper mixers on it.
tl;dr I own Ableton Live Suite, I'm questioning whether or not it's good for rock recording. How do I go about recording effectively with it?
