Ableton and my 49e M-Audio

I get a delay from the time I hit the key to the time the instrument triggers. Anybody had a similar issue or know how to fix it. I am running Vista, Ableton 7, and an M-Audio 49e USB right to the computer.

Actually it delay's with my keyboard as well, but if I play a note with my mouse it is right on time.

I am thinking it is the audio card in my PC.
