I used a Q10 for about 2 years and was VERY pleased with it. I don't record full bands but you could easily with plenty of in/outs. The mic pres sound very good, as does the headphone output. The only problem with the Q10 is that they've gone out of business and you might run into problems getting with support.
I use it now, and am happy with it. It was indeed a step up from my delta 44, and for the price now-a-days, ya cant beat it. make sure you can get drivers though. if you got XP, you sohuld be fine.
