I have a q10 running cubase sx. When i try to record through channel 1 it is always only in the left monitor and channel 2 is always in the right, 3 in the left, 4 in the right, ect. It seems like cubase is trying to make 1 and 2 a stereo channel, same with 3 and 4, 5 and 6, etc. I've tried setting up the busses differently but i dont know exactly what i need to do. any suggestions?

I also have a Q10 and Cubase. For me this only occurs during recording, as the sound is being routed only through the Q10. On playback the sound is routed through Cubase and whatever panning I have applied to it is in effect. You might want to check the routing on your Aardvark Manager to make sure everything is setup correctly or check the device manager in Cubase. If worst comes to worst you can always pan each channel from the Aardvark Manager.

i have tried panning in the aardvark manager, but i get nothing. i mean, it does pan, but no matter if its panned to the right, left or center, its still only going through one of the monitors as mentioned before.

How do you have it set up in VST Connections (press F4)?

-You have to add a mono bus
-name it to what the channel on the Q10 is
-set it to what channel on the Q10 you want
-Add a channel on cubase (mono)
-Set the "in" to the bus you made

Is this what you did? It works this way for me.

thanks duders, but i got it all fixed. serioulsy though, thank you for your help.
