aardvark & cubase

hi all, i just bought my aarrdvark 24/96 and im trying to record using Cubase. although i can record channels 1 & 2, i cant seem to record channels 3 & 4!
when i look at the Direct Pro control panel, i see the levels for 3 & 4 and there is sound coming from the speakers. however, nothing is recorded in cubase.
can someone tell me how i can record channels 3 & 4?

im at a lost! help!!

Have you:

-enabled the inputs 3&4 under 'inputs' within Cubase.

-changed the input channel on the virtual mixer? At the very top there's a little box that says 1L or 2R, hold down the ctrl key and change it to 3L and 4R on another set of faders.
