Are these the same type of file?
In the past I just went w/ Mp3 encoding... I just recently got a new Mp3 player and have been researching the different file formats. I've been reading that AAC is actually better than MP3 so I thought I'd check it out.
My problem or Question...
The SonicStage software (that my new Sony mp3 player uses) creates the AAC file w/ a .3gp extension. Winamp does not recognize it. Then if I Re-name the file w/ a .mp4 extension Winamp plays it but Sonicstage won't recognize it.
Any ideas whats happening here? are these the same AAC file?
