Why does it keep resetting my faders. I checked the event list, there is no panning/fader events. There is no automation track.

I will open up a project, adjust the faders, save it and close.

When I reopen the project the faders are back at their original positions.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Which program are you using.. Cakewalk is the company... SONAR? Home Studio? Pro Audio 9?

Sounds like thoes pesky lurking 'Snap Shots'.
???

If it's PA9, then

Never use snap-shots, use envelopes instead...

And if I remember correctly, this has been a problem fixed in one of the PA9 updates. You can find them on www.cakewalk.com :)

Spamming for the HR.Comp CD should be forbidden by law. Please do not support it because of James' spamming... :D

I can't guarentee this is correct, but if it's PA9, they normally APPEAR to have reset, but sound the same. My experience only probably :)

If you're setting volume and pan in the Track View, you shouldn't have a problem.

That used to drive me nuts too, in PA9. But like Moskus said, if your using Sonar, use envelopes and forget about that console view.

You can use envelopes in PA9 too, just not for MIDI.... ;)

Yah guys sorry i didn't answer right away.

I'm using ProAudio 9.03 and I'm using the Console view.

I use envelopes quite a bit but not always. I like that you can group faders in the console view so when I want to adjust 6 tracks of chorus they're all linked. Can you do this with envelopes?

It's everything you've said. It's like the snapshot button is all screwed up. I check for events, none and yet somewhere my faders jump in the middle of the song.

I get everything mixed so there's no clipping and when I restart Bang! back to square one. AAaaa!!

I'm gonna look for updates. Thanks people.
