AA 1.0 bundled effects

What do you guys think about the effects in Adobe Audition? Which ones are good, which ones are okay, and which should I stear clear from?

Personally from testing I think most of them seem pretty weak, but what are some good useable effects and presets that some of you use?

I agree most of the FX are pretty weak. The Parametric EQ is good as well as the Chorus and Multitap Delay but the presets are crappy overall.

It depends on what you are trying to achieve. Generally the effects are of the highest quality in DSP terms and the above posts are the first time anywhere I've seen them generally dismissed in those terms.

The presets are simply illustrations of how the effects can be used and set up. The chances of a preset being appropriate for your particular material without modification are close to zero (unless you are not listening very carefully). That's why suggestions of preset sharing have never met with much enthusiasm as it's a largely pointless exercise. Way back there was a site set up somewhere for that purpose which foundered pretty quickly through lack of interest.
