A terrible but historic mix

This is part of a research effort to see how two participants could jam almost live while physically separated by great distances.

The idea was to use a stable half duplex chat line and record it live to CDR while jamming along with the incoming stream.

Sure- the music is marginal (on my part, anyway) but the concept
is uplifting. And the proof is in the mp3!

Also a clue as to how clear this chat sounds at my end.

The last time any of my music was bootlegged was in like 1984!!! :)

The actually sounds fairly somewhat almost decent doc! I know Emeric's guitar tone comes across pretty well too.

PalTalk is the shit! :)

that was funny what you said at the end.,

its sounds fine for the conditions

What'f I was to develop a chunk of software in which you could do live streams, and mix them real-time, with sources from, well, where-ever in the world the person is, providing they have the software and are connected to the net... and then have a final, full quality recording (which the computer(s) automatically peice together through shared processing)?

Being as, of course, that what you hear whilst you are jamming (real time) is a lower-quality version... But the final recording would be full q, and fully editable...

This would make possible a live jam from all over the world, and a final product in the end of full-q (professional mix genius and musicians not included) wavs....

Whata ya think? It's possible, might take a bit of work...
