Hey Man,

First up, I think its a nice tune. You have a good voice, and I think your vocals are great.

On the production/recording point, its a bit "crispy". Everything sounds as if its had the mid-range scooped out of it. Don't get me wrong, its not bad, its just a bit lacking in the mid range.
I would imagine this is either because you are learning to mix or because your monitoring chain is not quite perfect.

Another bit of advice, the strings are a bit synth-y. I would try and find some more subtle string sounds (I could mix you some down if you want, just send me a MIDI file).

Overall - the song is good, just needs a bit of critical listening and more midrange punch. You have a good song, I would like to hear a second mix :).

Only listening through headphones ATM mate but, it sounds great. Love the song and the laidback lyrics.
The guitar solo came in a bit sharp and not sure if the vocal track is a little loud and maybe could do with de-essing but as I say...headphones. Love that kick though mate.

Mart.

First of all I liked the tune and the vocals. I agree on the high end part.. and I dont want to suggest too much, but If you play too much loud music the ears might need a bit extra high end to get satisfaction, but I hope that is not the case.. still it sounds too crisp, for shure.. and lastly, it all depends on how you like it, but in my opinion the drumplayer dont sound natural, but maybe that was not your goal! Hope that helps. (sry if the english is bad)
