I gotta also add...I think your gtr sound (although kinda elec/acoustic sounding...like the Godins), is MUCH better than your samples you put up. Howcome?... :confused:

Hmmm... Im a bit confused too.

The guitar that im playing is a Takamine with some reverb and delay.

You think that sound Im getting sounds better than the electric sound?

Nice "spanish" influence.... not Tejano roach coach soundtrack material....... :p Very nice guit. sounds. Kinda reminds me of Ottmar Liebert. First off, it was too short! Develope that sucker. I know you didn't run out of tricks in the bag! You've nice pace and poise(sp?) as a player and I like how you take the expected road most of the time but, have the savy to make a road of your own when it fits your temperment.

The song is well done. I kinda was into the playing too much to bitch about the mix (bad me, bad me!) but, it lacks in length and resolution. Fill it out,.........you've shown the lassy how your heart titters, show her how it will tatter and patter when you touch her lips for the first time!! All of this will be done via guitar, Of Course!!:).

Nice song. Nice tone on everything. Nobody commented on the bass, but I think it had a really good sound to it.

What was that at 1:07? Sounded like a skip or something. It was right on tempo so perhaps it was intentional.

The only thing that was wierd in a bad way was when that acoustic around 1:07 came in... also there was some minor clammage before that..

as theron said make it longer etc.. this tune will be great...

It sounds like spanish pop, sin animo de ofender sino todo lo contrario, but it has an American lilt to it...beri beri nais...you should write some lyrics with a kick ass chorus and Ill do the adaptation for you in Spanish cus iffn ya wanna score some numeros con esta señorita youse gotta tell er what she wanna hears muchacho

I guess that was a mistake posting the song before it was done... I got a little to anxious, I guess. I will have the song done by this weekend in its entirety.

TripleM- Yes, the bass is sounding pretty smooth in there.... I tried using my fretless bass guitar but it doesnt quite sound as good as the analog bass im using. I believe the sound at ~1:07 was a guitar slap... I usually get into playing when I record, I sometimes lose control of the guitar. It controls me :eek: . Almost all the guitar parts are gonna be different in the final version .. so that excitement wont be in there. Thanks for the ears!

B.SABBATH- That would be cool if she liked me. Ya never know about females now adays. Everybody always tells me: leave the girls alone and stick to music. Music should be your girlfriend. I guess you get out of life what you put in... I could put 20 hours a week into a relationship or 20 hours a week into my guitar/recording. Each has an equal return on enjoyment, sometimes. It can get pretty confusing .. I try not to put too much effort into ralationships.. I guess thats why I dont have a girlfriend. Maybe someday... not rushing here :)

jordokid- hey there. Hmm... I didnt do to well in spanish :) But it sounds like you like the song... thanks! You'll have to give it a listen once its done, Im sure you'll enjoy. I believe shes a mix of one of those islands and spanish? Not sure

TheRealWaldo- Thanks! Yes, I finally have my balances right. Now I have to go back and redo my other songs. That kinda stinks. Oh well.
