Magic Bag Of Sounds
i wrote this in about 30 minutes and recorded it real quick cause my girlfriend was moving away that night and i figured a song would cheer her up. i 99% of the mics were from the mxl 990/991 package, i might have also used an old shure bg5.0 on an acoustic guitar, but i can't remember. bass was a crappy old lotus bass DId through a presonus tubepre. everything was through that tubepre, actually.guitar was a PRS santana se through a fender frontman 25w amp. one acoustic guitar was a samick that i found on the beach one night and nobody claimed. the other is a yamaha classical guitar, i think a cg180se or something like that. i mostly ran high pass filters and some compression, no crazy eqing. this was done quick.. i'm talking 2 hours at best.
yes the electric guitar is not in tempo, the vocals are awful at best, and i limited it way too much.. but this is for a girl, not a homerecorder.. i just decided to upload it today when i remembered that i made it. maybe you'll enjoy it
