A Simple Recording Program...

I'm looking for a simple recording program, where all it does is record and doesn't have all the addons that all the other ones have. Basically, I'm looking for one like the one included in Windows, except that I would like for it to record way more than just one minute. Can anyone help me?
 
ooo, i'll have to check that out! thanks! But still...are there really no simple ones out there, cuz i've searched a lot and still no luck.

the easiest easiest program is cool edit pro. its so damn simple.

Simple Recording Software

Hi,
There is a on-line collaboratory called Tonos
The software that they offer is called the TC8.
It is utilized for on-line collaboration but, it can also be used as
a stand alone 8-track recorder.
It has some effects but, hey, you don't need to use them.
The first month is free and it is $30.00 a year to keep it.
It does not need a lot of RAM like pro-tools.
It has it's own file format but, you can easily convert to .WAV then to
.MP3 with encoding software such as Music Match Jukebox.
It is extremely user friendly
The only glitch seems to be to make sure that you get the correct drivers.
No problems after that.

This is my first post so, I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this before.
 
I've got vegas pro and love it ,believe me if I can figure it out anyone can.
