Hello,

First, let me say that I don't work with midi and have virtually no experience with the format. I have no idea if what I ask is possible, too time consuming or plain silly ..... ? All I know is that I need help and it seems that this forum is the correct one to post to. Please bear with me .... I have a midi file (piano only) uploaded here (transcribed by another person from an original performace):

MIDI

What it comes down to basically is that I need proper sheet music (something that can be played on a real piano) that perhaps someone can "extract" from this midi and place into a pdf file (for example) and email it to me ? Is this at all feasable for some here to do ? In return I promise to send the person the finished product of piano + vocal as a thank you, when I get it done, of course ;)

Thanks a lot for considering.

There are programmes that can open MIDI files and transfer them into score on manuscript paper, unfortunately i dont have any of those programmes..

I used to use Sibelius and i know that works, heres the link for the 'demo' version.

Mac: http://www.download.com/Sibelius/3000-2182_4-10263919.html?tag=lst-0-1

Windows: http://www.download.com/Sibelius/3000-2170_4-10263918.html?tag=lst-0-1

Man, am I ever grateful! I downloaded the demo vers of Sibelius and right then and there popped open a window with one of the options being: "convert a midi file into a score". WOW! It was as simple as that. Sure, the save function is partly non-functional but I can print these out no problem! Thanks again for pointing me to Sibelius!
