A really good 4 channel mixer?

Anybody know of a high quality 4 channel mixer?

I have a budget of about $500 for this...

Forget mackie. Check out soundcraft, Ive seen the M4 go for $480. I believe it was at zzounds. The same pres found on the ghost.

Thanks guys...that mixer looks nice...

Is ther anything smaller? I only need 2 stereo channels or 4 mono channels...not both..

If I can find something with that quality..but a lil bit cheaper..Or something better in the same price range would be great..thansk for the replies....
 
great mixer

I just got a spirit (by soundcraft) Folio Notebook and I really like it. I paid $300.00 for it (cdn). You might want to check this out. My recording has improved greatly.

4 mono ins-xlr and balanced/unbalanced
2 stereo ins
tape in
effects are mono send/stereo return

The Folios are a nice little mixer, but they don't have the "Ghost" pres
 
folio's

The pre's sound pretty good. As good as you could expect for $300.00 anyways. I am really excited about this little guy. My demos are sounding better than ever.
