Hi to Ellipses and szwim. I am still "new" here myself...
I like the "MP3 mixing clinic" forum best because it gives you "hands on" material to discuss, rather than banging on about equipment and such. It helps me to determine my own style when giving gratuitous advice to others. The only problem is if I spend too much time there I become a bit too tired and critical... and gratuitous
Knowing your gear is important, but making music is the point.
