A mood Piece in Development

Here's something I've been working on and need to get away from for awhile.

I've been trying to layer in more parts to fill up the empty space but nothing seems to work.

All comments welcome. Let me know if the song seems too sparse or if it works as is.

I thought this was enjoyable. I think the production is just right to keep it interesting enough to keep listening but also laidback enough to not occupy your thoughts... very important for setting a mood. Thanks for the comments on mine, btw... I agree.

Any comments are welcome; mix, quality, arrangment, etc.

I'm kind of at a dead end as far as the arrangement. Maybe it's one of those ideas that's destined to be nothing more than backing sort of track. I've been trying to turn it into something else but there really isn't much there melody wise to work with.

I though of adding some voices in the background, choral oohs and ahs...I don't know.

Maybe it's time to move on to something else.

I think it sounds great! Nice ideas and nice mood. Maybe you should move on. Then come back to it in a month and start fresh.
