Hmmmm... Looking for a studio console mixer and heading toward a mackie 24-8. The price isn't too steep compared to some soundcraft and A&H mixers and Ive heard good results come from mackies, eventhough Ive never used one before. So the question is, if I purchase the mackie will I be angry at myself down the road because I didn't save up the dough for a soundcraft or A&H board??
I will be using DBX 586s for vocal pres but everything else will be preamped from the board. Most mixdown tracks will be through an 01V. Just need help cause this is a really big investment for me. Thanx again!
