Well... I wouldn't say it's all about the guitarist and the riff. The amp can help (or hurt) a lot.

Without a doubt!!! NO WAY is their distortion coming out of a POD XT!!!!

They have a great focused distortion sound on their new cd. I would be willing to bet it IS the Soldano.

Having OWNED 2 different Soldanos, AND a Pod.. I'll take a Pod every time. Soldanos tone sucks.

And, btw, you'd be VERY suprised to find out how many top level bands are now using the Pod in the studio. WAY more than you'd ever want to let yourself believe.

i bet most the bands you hear today use the POD i just think the music producers are hiding the fact that the POD can get a better sound then them lol but hey you never know...lol
