A little something I whipped up today.

Nice industrial backing though the HH may be too up front.
Keep going...

I like the feel of this. It makes me think of a character in a movie maybe walking or running through city streets looking everywhere, maybe running from something/someone or chasing something/someone.. just gives me that visualization.. very cool.

Almost seems as though at 1:35, a new emotion is added to it.. with the little bit of guitar movement there.

Haha I love it. What programs are you using? And you aren't a boondock saints fan by chance are you?

lol it's funny you mention that. I actually had it titled something about "hell" and as soon as I saved the file I heard a CRASH! from the other room. Went in a box of baby wipes had fallen off of the counter in the bathroom so I took it as a sign that someone didn't agree with my choice and titled it something they may approve of.

I use Cakewalk HS 4 and a loop of some midi "drums" I made with the stuff inside cakewalk. Nothing fancy. The rest is real bass and real guitars.

Hey Apples! I love where you are going with this tune!

Industrial Rock! I love the sexy, almost dangerous feel it has.

The dirty wah'd/flanger'd guitar in the beginning gives it a nasty side.

At 1:35 where that awesome change takes place, it does take on a new emotion...but...I have been trying to figure this out...it sounds like the bass drops down, rather than the guitar?

I would love to hear a guitar solo take off with that bass beginning with the 1:35 change...seems a perfect spot for doing that and a repeat 1:35 change made at 1:45 with the solo wailing away....I can hear a more subtle 1:35 change at 1:24 and if you keep this, I would do the every 10 sec change again..doing the solo thingy again..only this time, with a 2 guitar solo dual..building...building...at 3:11... I hear ya do it again...go to 3:21...while adding a third guitar to these solos...building..building....blowing the industrial cap right off with a rock and roll axe-scream smoking barrel...all the way to 3:40, where I hear a cool flute sound, changing it again.... to 3:45 with that 1:35 change one more time. You have a lot of play space inbetween for whatever you are going to do.

The axe more left panned at 1:36 does it's own little wah solo ditty to 1:40...again 1:51 - 2:13...then changes the wah sound again....but I can barely hear it. This little ditty is like an accent.

When I do get excited about a tune, or it's potential...being for me..one that causes me to hear all kinds of things to do with the song, I tend to get wild and stuff about it.

I think this tune affects me like that, because you are still in the basics of it and I can hear so much potential, of it being one of those...blow your mind, guitar showcases.

The industrial powered bottom end ....the consistant bass and the driving industrial beat, the rhythm guitar...the dirty wah...all of that makes a perfect foundation and frame for a guitar-solo'd song. There is a lot of room for some wild ass playing in there!!

To my ears, all of the axes that are in the tune now, could come up about a db for now....but I think you know that already.

PS...don't mind me...I hear a lot of things when excited!!

Hey Apples, this is right on!!!

Anyway...a storm blowing through here now...so off with my PC!

True :)
