Ugh...I got home from work and I felt like absolute hell. Really sorry, I didn't get to this one tonight, but I will lay down a track as soon as possible...

well...i dont know really...lol...I havent had time lately to play with this one anymore. plus my friend (Brad) who wrote it wasnt around for the last week...Id like to retrack the guitars soon. Not that its all that complicated, but I might mic an amp this time instead of just using the ole V-amp pro. Also, Brad told me that he has a friend who he has asked to try a lead part as well....
 
ACK!!! :eek: I completely forgot about this! Really, really sorry...I'll try to get something on here soon. Ask anybody on this site that I've done collabs with, and you'll find that I'm glacially slow at getting this stuff done, but (hopefully :o ) the final results are worth it...

Here is one take of a solo and an outro solo.
If interested I will post another I have with a slightly different approach!

This is a song my friend wrote 3 or 4 years ago...I heard it once way back when we were jamming out at my house and it had been on my mind lately so I asked him just this morning if he wanted to record it....I know it still has some kinks in it....drums are all done with loops...(we may go back and use a real kit), guitars are done with a Berhi V-amp. Accoustic was mic'ed with a pair of JM27's and an AT3035 (not a lot of this in the mix). Bass is a blend of a mic'd cab and DI'ed with a DMP3. C1 for vocals....

I have to agree with Gorty, this a great song! Has all the elements of a hit!!

The lyrics are excellent!!! I can soooo identify with the "I know it won't be long now, till I fuck up again". Yep, that 's me alright!! :D

Love the dudes voice too!!
