Big drum sound. Pretty nice, dude. What was the guitar setup? Pretty cool as well. Actually, very catchy tune. Thanks for sharing it.

This is a catchy tune - good pop punk. Love the vocals - very well done - doubled well. Nice mix on everything.....good one!

Thanks ED.

The guitars were a Gibson sg on the right, and a Fender american strat on the left.

Both wet through a mesa dual rectifier with the "vintage" setting engaged.

That went to a Mode 4 4x12 cab that was totally cranked.

mics were a 57 and a u87 to the trident s20 then compressed with Raxx and also bussed to a sperate aux track that had a room simulator, the Waves Trueverb...i used the "guitar room" preset....i cant believe i usesd a preset and admitted it....but hey its sounded good so fuck it! :D

EDIT>> the verb was set with no direct signal blended in. I already had that happening through the Raxx bus.

Cool to hear the signal path. And presets.....I try em all the time, and then just tweak what I feel is needed.....Probably shows though....

I like what I'm hearing.....but I could'a used a little more more cowbell...

the big cut @ 16khz is kinda audible,

I would let some sizzle of the cymbals and higher harmonics get trough !

for the rest: nice job ;)

There werent any crashes.
Just a ride and a hh.
That might be why you dont hear alot of high order harmonics coming from the cymbals. The "cymbal" sound is the ride getting played on its side. More of a windy sound than a bright crash like were are used to.

Thanks for the listen
