A little feedback please

Hi Peolpe,

I posted this song a while back and some kind folk open my eyes (or ears) to the fact that I have really screwed up the mix of what should have been a good song. Well I now fully agree. I've now done a "vanilla" remix and tried to keep things as simple as possible... I think it's a lot better but I'm very interested to hear what others think.

I missed the first version.......

first, theres something clicky off to one side(is it on the right)...its distracting.........

i think the acoustic could come up a tad......

that crunchy electric tone doesnt seem to fit.....and its panned on different sides at different places.......maybe you could have had it played twiced and panned hard left/right......

that background vocal thingy around 1:45 was a little freaky too.......

good song....as usual.......

Thanks for listening Gidge. I agree with all your comments ... I might get another chance to remix it in a week. This song has become a bit of a nightmare actually ... sometimes the longer a project goes for ... the less consistent it becomes

Unfortunately my monitors are now gone to their baby sitter so I had to mix on phones..... how does the balance on the overall tone sound to you ?
