"A Victim Of Circumstance" by:Michael L.Wilson
(verse1)Well,I woke up this mornin' to another boring dayAnd I picked up the paper to see what it had to say
Some woman was raped in the streets the other nightAnd another mob outbreak has the city full of fright
Chorus:It may sound a little funny but...it's all trueA victim of circumstance aren't you glad...it ain't you
(verse2)Well,I'm sittin' in jail cause my bail I just can't payAnd my woman's done left me I just got the news today
I'm all out of money and I need a cigaretteWhile my lawyer is laughin' while he brings me deeper in debt
Chorus:It may sound a little funny but...it's all trueA victim of circumstance aren't you glad...it ain't you
GUITAR!!!(verse3)Well,I got out this mornin' and I'm lookin' for a job
And I just passed the mansion of whom they said I robbedI know I'll find trouble again cause it follows me ev'rywhere
I just gotta keep my head up high and let you know that I still careChorus:It may sound a little funny but...it's all true
A victim of cicumstance aren't you glad...it ain't you
