A litle bit of general advice

Ok here the situation. I'm not a cool edit pro guru and I don not have the best studio stuck, but I know I,ve some good stock. So here my question can you give any trick you have to make your studio experience better. Ex : had revebe a little reverb on vocals etc...

Anything here is welcome :)
