Very nice jazzy hypnotic feel Kenny, found myself rather relaxed letting the melodies unfold.

Hypnotic lines are my thing, i liked that repeated bass riff. I dunno where i got the impression but for some reason i think i recall you doing some bluegrass stuff, was that right?
 
I like it too, and it's got a tighter structure than Wartorn, but I like Wartorn better. You do these grooves so well. That bit where all the drum hits come tumbling down together - have you tried it with a supersimple alternative - just a few hits well spaced out?

(BTW, I'm gonna try out the sound in the new studio this weekend or next week - I'll try out Wartorn on it first thing. That and a bit of lip trumpet for Pedullist are at the top of the list.)
 
thanks Khomp'. hehe, a little bluegrass too, and it`s much harder than I thought before I did it. Country is easier.. :)

Dobro; It`s not much, but I thought I ought to drop something in to keep in touch. The rolls are kinda sloppy and too much, simple, staggered, and short is better. I had listened to an old Cobham album with too much drums, and it influenced a weak representation I guess. :)
 
Great feel to this one.

I liked your use of panning and using the stereo field. That bass line sure does drive the song (in a good way) - provides nice consistency and a clear direction.
