Whoa!!!! That is not my kinda jazz, but that sure is some fancy playing there dude!!! Jee... You are better as me. Maybe even smarter.
Some comments: nothing to say on the playing. Really cool.
The sax overdub doesn't really work. You should try it with a different tone, maybe on a tenor or something. They don't differ enough. Don't think it really needs that dual there, really. It would be stronger with one line, maybe change register or something? That glissando (or whatever they call that fast scale) might even be enough to make it differ from the rest of the piece...
The accompaignent might be more complex too. Some fancy chords (more 9ths, 11...), some reharmonizations in between (just simple secondary V's or diuminished chords would do, maybe a sus chord) on that rhodes would really add to the jazzy feel, mqke it more interesting. The synth didn't bother me all that much, it is too much up front however. It doesn't really need it either....
You got a score on that? I really like the way the progressions modulates every now and then.
Nice growling too. I dig growling... Just got how to do it right. Playing with earplugs makes it easier to learn. You hardly hear the sax over your voice though.
