A&H Systrm 8

[Thrust]

I have a System 8 thats been idle for about three years. I was considering an Onyx 24 or a 2404 vlz3 but after reading some posts and opinions on system 8 I think I would rather revive it if possible. I would like to know if anyone could direct me to a new updated power supply for it. Hopefully something thats an improvement over the original. Thanks in advance.

According to some ex A&H employes the power supply was the weak point of the system 8. Im just a musician so what do I know. Can I rebuild it with better components? Will that influence its sound at all?

Dunno...no docs on the System 8. Don't know anything about it, but if you have no experience with that sort of thing best to farm it out IMO.

Again, what's wrong? What kind of problems are you having?
