Hi there. I recorded this just after the last track I did. I think it fits on quite nicely. Its quite short and has three parts. There are definately a few hot spots but I always record on headphones and I dont notice that much. What do you think?

I still cant post all my songs at once but I will ASAP. I will just keep going though.

(I managed to add a little guestbook, come and say, hello! Cheers Mike!)

I'll post mix comments later if they occur to me since I'm listening on crappy headphones right now, but just wanted to say:

GREAT SONG!

Love the energy, the changes and the creative approach overall. "Living outside the world". Now there's a traveler's anthem!

Very very cool.

Chris

Thanks chris

Thats awsome, cheers so much. Yup its a little cheezy but good fun to make. I just attacked it towards the end. I used the empty water bottle again! nice

thanks again

Yup! another keeper:D It may be a little off the beaten track but its real nice, I like those transitions. Maybe a little hotter with the mix would help because the volume is too low.
The change at 1:30 was unexpected and then the one at 2:00 was too cool.
You've got a real talent for both writing and compositional ideas my friend. But you already knew that:)

Great Job!

Peace
Bill

Always a pleasure to listen to your stuff. The guitars play off of each other well. The vocal lines in the "sitting on top of the world" section worked very well I thought.

The maraccas were a bit forward I thought. You could probably pull them back a bit.

The overall mix was a tad on the quiet side. You could probably give most everything (except of course the maraccas) a little and still have some headroom.

Some kind of pop at 1:25.

All of these nitpicks... I should be ashamed...

Killer voice. Nice piece of music.

Everything Trip said is right on! ...but who cares with your stuff! It's just a pleasure to get glimpse.

You have severe talent to whip this stuff out like this. Keep on making and sharing! :)

We get to at least listen to around 25 more from you before the summer is up! ;) What number are we on again out of how many??? :D

Great work!

You know... I always smile when I listen to your stuff....

I swear,... I could record the exact same thing and it just wouldn't sound right. Even your mistakes sound good. :p

Groovy song man... I was actually glad to finally hear you do some "mellow" singing (in the first part of the song). I think it sounds good. Maybe I'll have you sing one of my soft, depressing songs. :D

I'm really getting into your stuff. Great tune. I'll have a listen on the monitors at the weekend but nothing jumps out so far, just sounds great :)

Keep em coming, I love these.

Ian...........

I just listened to "ineversaid" aswell. That is my favorite by far. Very very cool!! Most creative stuff I've heard on here I reckon.

I never heard "I never said". ;) :D

Just wanted to chime in on that one too. Loved the change in sounds from you on that one. Real nice.

Was that #7? I need to keep up!

Nice guitars in the intro...

I know you're using less than ideal gear so I have to restrain myself on recording comments like hiss, etc...

But this is another good song from you! Some creative changes. Sounds like you wrote it late at night.

I like the whistling at the end. It's very cool that you didn't adhere to any writing formula as a reflex. I think this flows well. I can actually imagine a bigger production of this with some creative bridges between the sections. But like all of your tunes, a bigger production is not necessary. Just maybe a glass of wine.

This is so Cat Stevens (maybe too Cat Stevens ;) ). You must listen to Cat Stevens. Even the sound has a 70's Cat Stevens sound. Are these Cat Stevens demos he never released? Are you Cat Stevens? Or maybe Yusuf Islam? :)

Because of you I've started to really love acoustic music again.

I just listened to friend of mine and i never said...

Man I had to pick my jaw up off the floor again, especially after listening to i never said.

Great stuff. Thanks again for sharing.

hey man...nice stuff. As usual I like your stuff. You know, I think you could sing the phone book and I'd like it. You just have one of those voices. In fact, I can't ever get into the meat of your songs to check out the actual songwriting until I've listened to them many, many times. They just sound too good and I always end up listening on that level for awhile.

Nice work again. Keep em coming.

Pure dead gallus.

Lots of great ideas, nice vocal. Percussion is too loud. Whistling is cool.

Cheers

Hi TripleM, great, thanks for the mix review. Yeh there are definately a few hotspots. I just mix in headphones though and guess what will sound good on the stereo. I learn from everything I`m told here so thanks. Cheers

Hey skids, now that sure is a nice thing to say. Cheers mate. I want to write and record 33 songs. That was number 8 and I am just going to post 9. Nice. Thanks for the listening and telling me you enjoyed. Later

WATYF. Lol. bring on the mistakes then, nice. It was good to try a litle spanish style and real mellow too. I had to change half way through though. Thanks alot man.

IanW-UK. hi Ian, thanks for listeing to these two. I use the br532, headphones and a condesor so It will nodoubt sound shocking on good speakers. Thanks though and I am just going to have a listen to that other song of yours. Cool.

SLuiCe. thanks. Cheers, I added the solo last just becasue it was alittle too plain. The gear i use is the only gear i know, so its Ideal for me. great comments, I admire that from you. Cheers.

Hey Erland. i'm loving this continuing saga thing. Very cool, and you've added another great tune to the collection. This will be a really neat "scrapbook" of your summer. Did you recently pick up a nylon string guitar? I've just noticed it on a few of your more recent submissions. Keep 'em coming
