I Like Rusty Spoons
this is my final version of just like heaven (actually i gotta fix a glitch in the imitation keyboard played on guitar). but i was wondering if this is a prtty strong mix (i don't have great equipment, hell the acoustic i recorded this on was cheap). but this is a little different from the other version i posted here before (finished back up vocals and a better mix overall). a few people said the vocals were OK (which is better then i normally get) take a listen and let me know if i've gotten better at recording within the past 3 years of posting here. www.geocities.com/en4cer2633/demp3s.html
it's just like heaven. if you wanna hear a big difference in my abilities listen to the other two on the page.

The song link doesn't work........ (page not found error!)

fixed the link, but blue bear you might be at a loss for words again (it doesn't vary too much from my original version)

Ahhh you took out the lead guitar track! My favorite part of the song :(

The vocals don't sound like they are strong enough. Maybe it's uncertainty or breathing. Other than that it's pretty

(looking at hand) just as a suspected, not enough talent to tackle a complicated lead. :)

Playing and singing aside, the mix is pretty clean..some drums would really improve the flow of the song, as well as the timing.

Not sure why you left the feedback and explitive on one song...if your truly striving for a "professional" sound, things like that don't belong..

Also saying something "sucked" at the end of a song doesn't do anything for the listener.

What's the old saying? "If you put too little value on yourself rest assured no one will raise your price"

Need to lose the signature under your name too......

Actually - you're right!

;)

yeah, i knew i forgot to cut out the "that sucked" thank god for computers. those other songs (with the feedback) i put up a long time ago, there's a four year difference between the recordings on there. the other ones, well oh well, they're dead songs now.
