Really, I am newbie here. So I haven't deserved your feedback? What should I do to get responded?

It has nothing to do with being a newbie. Sometimes it just takes a while for people to listen, and majority of the regular listeners aren't first and foremost techno fans as far as I know... But I am! And I've gotta say, that is fucking tight! My woman is asleep right now so I can't listen with the subwoofer, but the composition and the "groove" are very nice. It has good continuity, the timing and breaks are done well.
There are others here I would give way to about the mixing/mastering, but I say the song is very good.

not to discourage you, but I don't think you are gonna get many feeback with a techno song here.

Anyways, I do listen to some electronics/lounge music, and I think this is pretty cool. The beat could be heavier/louder, and some spacy effect or synth sound will add more demension to this.

I have a newbie question, what defines drum&bass? a particular beat or? I am asking cuz I find the beat on this track somewhat over-used for drum&bass music in general.

Drum and bass has syncopated rhythm with somewhere between 160 and 180 beats per minute. That's most important I suppose.

This is a really clean recording with alot of work dispayed in the arrangement. The voices are mixed very well. I like a lot of the sounds you used in the piece. I don`t like the drums, but they are appropriate for this genre I guess. They remind me of my old rx21 drum machine. The bass you used sounds good and some of the envelopes on the filter modulation is cool. I`d have gone for a fat doubled minimoog or something similar with real drum sounds myself but it wouldnt be the same kinda music then..
Enjoyed the listen.

Toki987, thank you a lot.

Just updated to a new version.
Spent two weeks on knob tweaking, fx adding and so on. Added some juice.
Location is the same:

The beat seemed a bit busy or clicky to me. What the hell do I know? This is not my style but pretty clean and stuff.

As you can see....you did get some responses. It's just that it takes some time 'cause the clinic has gotten so feakin' full lately. Also.....it doesn't help to announce your tune as a top of the charts phenomenon......besides being a bit pretentious, a lot of us don't see why you need our feedback if you're top of the charts so we go to someone who's more in need. Humbleness gets you further around here.

As for the tune.....listening to it rite now.........
fairly nice sound at the beginning.....like the lead in..........don't care for the drum sounds much although I know that type of music often uses obviously machine drums a lot.......I find the busyness of the drums takes away from the groove some...........I'd also like to hear the bass a bit more defined........
Fairly decent sound and the groove is pretty cool.....I'm not hip enough to this style of music to comment much on that aspect of it.

Worth a second listen.....nice work.

Thank you a lot Lt. Bob. I think you are right about this. Actually it's my first tune that I think is decent and I was a bit surprised that it went on top. Now I am gonna edit that first message. I just wanted to hold attention but maybe just looked impolite which is not what I wanted. I did the a thing which is not very nice: shouted in lot of forums just to get some feedback. So I want to thank everyone for understanding and being pretty gentle.
And lot of thanks Lt. Bob for listening and reviewing.

jake-owa and thank you for responding too.

The tune was made in FL 3.56 with loads of freeware synths and fx.

PS since time has gone it's not possible now to edit the first message. :(
