a dj mix by me

so i recently got into ableton for just some general ideas to add to my dj set. i ended up making an entire mix/remix cd. basically the idea is that took songs from over 100 artists and made something new. so yes this is essentially a mash-up cd. so if you like Girl Talk you will probably like this mix. i know this is normally what gets posted here but i would like to what people here think about...ways to improve or if you even like it or not. any feedback would be gladly appreciated.

That was AWESOME, nice blendings!

I'm not a fan of that type of music in general, but I did enjoy listening that!.. The only part I disliked was the queen-sample, came a tad sudden and overwhelming, as the others kinda "oozed" themselves in nicely.

...or then it's just the Crowmoor-can I'm emptying for a hungover..

This thing is even long enough to loop through a party.

The intro - labelling yourself - put me off. Isn't it enough to have your name on it.
The rap didn't fit with Imagine - there was no commonality of metre, rhythm or melody to match the progression. Putting rap over a progression isn't really what I understand Mashups to be.
Mash ups work best when they are amusing due to the clever juxtapositioning of known elements. This doesn't seem to be happening & the common thread - the tick tick rhythm box - is too dinky to do the job.
The 1st idea goes for far too long given the above.
I assume you got approvals for the lifts! I certainly hope so.
We will rock you doesn't fit the backing at all.
Sorry - lots of work done & the levels are pretty even - though a few boom out, but it comes off a little lo fi.
Just not to my taste or ethic I suppose.

thx for the feedback. i'm by no means a expert with this type of stuff, but i wasn't trying to make a perfect mix. this was something i ended up having fun with and just decided to make something out of it. thx again though for the input...it helps.
