i definately like the idea of arbour being a community based thing insted of a company. I like the idea of an open source code to constantly improve the product. The problem is that i'm not willing to give up Windows for Linux just for a single program. Maybe if i had a second computer or somthing. Actually, i probably still wouldn't as i know nothing about linux and i don't have time ot learn it. Maybe there will be a free DAW for windows.

Audacity has the right idea; works on ALL platforms- PC, Mac & Linux.

Or you can go out and get a copy of "Computer Music" magazine; comes with a full suite including a sequencer, VSTi instruments and sampler.
