A/D D/A converters...is crystal better?

I was about to get the Echo Mia, then I heard that the converters are not crystal - Is it really that much better, and if so what cards should I look into

I will need 4 channels to record to at once (max)
and I dont need xlrs as I will borrowing outboard mic pre's from a studio

Get the delta 66. The Mia only has four combinded I/Os (two of each).

you might also consider a soundcard with preamps, could save some time...but if you have access to some sweet sounding preamps, there is no reason not to go with one of the delta cards.
