I'm looking to upgrade my signal chain with an a/d converter like either the Apogee Rosetta 200, the Lavry Black AD10, or maybe the Apogee Mini Me (the cheaper alternative). I own various preamps - the Avalon 737 and some Grace 101's - and I record with the Roland VS2480CD. I have decent mic's (Neumann, Josephson). I assume the Rosetta and the Lavly will do nicely, but was wondering about the Mini Me and whether I would (or should) bypass its preamp, since I already have that covered . . . any suggestions would be appreciated.
